CHSCA to Honor Outdoor Track & Field Athletes at All-State Banquet

logoThe Connecticut High School Coaches Association will be hold its annual Outdoor Track & Field All-State Dinner on Wednesday June 20th at the Aqua Turf in Southington. The banquet will honor:

The CHSCA All-State 1st team – The All State 1st team consists of the 1st place finisher in each event at the Class Championships (LL, L,M,MM,S) , the State Open, and the specialty event Championship (Decathlon, Heptathlon, Hammer, Steeplechase) 

The CHSCA Outdoor Track and Field Assistant Coach of the Year 2018 - Dale Nosel, Sheehan High School, Wallingford

The CHSCA All State – All Academic Outdoor Track and Field team based on the CHSCA guidelines.

2018 CHSCA Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Year

·        Girl’s Track Athlete of the Year – Emily Philippides

·        Boy’s Track Athlete of the Year – Leon Campell, Hartford Public

·        M- F Athletic Girl’s Field Athlete of the Year – Amanda Howe, Southington

·        M- F Athletic Boy’s Field Athlete of Year – Brian Jalowiec, Derby

The CHSCA Outdoor Track and Field Teams of the Year:

·        Boys’ Team of the Year – Danbury High School, Danbury
