Coaches Brian Hayes of Immaculate High School and Ed Butt of Brookfield High School announce the Oregon Style Cross Country Running Camp at The Canterbury School in New Milford, Ct from August 3 - 8, 2014. The camp is open to boys and girls from ages 12-18 that enjoy running with and learning from successful high school and college runners. The camp is meant to supplement your summer training, not replace your summer program. Runners will be grouped by fitness level and experience.

The Oregon Style Cross Country Running Camp will have access to Canterbury’s facilities including soft running trails on campus and several off campus locations. Speakers will discuss varied topics including sports psychology, cross training, injury prevention, race strategy, proper running technique, goal setting, nutrition, academic preparation for college, etc.  Speakers will vary, but all have enjoyed success at the high school, college or national level. All were beginning runners at one time.
