Bloomfield Invite - April 7, 2007
The early-season Bloomfield Invitational is in its fourth season and meet director Garfield White has provided coaches and athletes with the first opportunity to compete in a meet that has drawn teams from across the state. A full slate of events are offered at the meet that is scheduled for April 7, 2007 at Bloomfield High School. New Online Intent to Enter and Athlete Event Entry is available this year for this Featured Meet. The Intent to Enter form and Athlete Event Entry forms are now available online. Dave Smith Rockville Relays - April 14, 2007
The Dave Smith Rockville Relays, in its seventh year, has been renamed in honor of former meet director Dave Smith. Coach Ray Owens of Rockville has taken over meet direction after serving as co-director the past few years. The meet is scheduled for Saturday, April 14, 2007 at Rockville High School. The meet offers the Distance Medley relay, a popular off-track 2-mile relay and  provides athletes with the opportunity to compete against others in their age group as both championship and class events are available. Irv Black Invitational - April 20-21, 2007
The 3rd Annual Irv Black High School Invitational, formally the Trinity High School Invite, is scheduled for Friday-Saturday, April 20-21, 2007 at Trinity College in Hartford CT. Meet Director George Suitor offers one of the oldest, early season meets in Connecticut that provides junior varsity and varsity high school athletes an opportunity to compete in a large invitational atmosphere over the course of two days.  Please see the Irv Black High School Invitational website for all meet information and registration forms.

Ledyard Relays - April 27-28, 2007

Meet Director Dave Tetlow has released the website information for this season's Ledyard Relays, scheduled for April 27-Friday and April 28-Saturday, at Ledyard High School. The meet is by invitation only for the following schools: Bacon Academy, Daniel Hand, Darien, East Lyme, E. O. Smith, Fitch, Griswold, Killingly, Ledyard, Middletown, Montville, New London, Norwich Free Academy, Plainfield, Putnam, RHAM, Rockville, Saint Bernards, Stonington, Tourtellote, Waterford, Windham and Woodstock Academy. 76th Greater Hartford Invitational - April 28, 2007

The state's oldest meet, the 76th Greater Hartford Outdoor Track and Field Meet, has moved to the state's newest site, an all-weather, 8 lane track at Simsbury High School. Meet Director Rick Collins welcomes any Connecticut high school team to the new, state of the art facility for great times and great performances in a meet that features fully automatic timing provided by Manchester Timing. 4th Manchester Midnight Invitational - May 4, 2007

Meet Director Dan Uriano has released the final information for the fourth annual Manchester Midnight Invitational, to be held on Friday, May 4, 2007. The Field events will begin at 4:30-5:00pm while the Running events will begin between 5:00-6:00pm. Last year’s meet was a great success. This year we expect an even better meet. We have improved the registration, added the Pole Vault for boys and girls, and made some of the changes recommended by participating teams and coaches from last year. Manchester’s facility has clocked unusually fast times. Last year several teams qualified for the high school national championships in North Carolina. This is a wonderful opportunity to come and compete in events rarely offered during the outdoor track season. Come run under the glow of the lights! Blue Devil Invite - May 5, 2007
Meet Director Marty Roberts has opened the Blue Devil Invitational to all Class S and Class M teams as well as changed the venue to the O.H Platt High School in Meriden CT for the meet that is scheduled for a 2:00pm start on Saturday May 5, 2007. The meet website contains all meet information including the entry forms. The Mail-in Intent to Enter form
and payment must be received by 6:00pm on Friday, April 27th, 2007 while the  Online Athlete Event Entry deadline is Monday, 5:59pm, April 30, 2007, NO LATE Entries.

36th Hartford Public HS Invite - May 12, 2007
Meet Director Lindy Remgino invites all interested schools in the Northeast and Eastern seaboard, as well as Canadian schools, to the 36th Annual Hartford Public High School Invitational Outdoor Track and Field Meet. The meet will once again be held at the Veterans' Stadium, located at Willowbrook Park in New Britain Connecticut. The Irv Black Track is an 8-lane, 400m mondo surface track, including the runways for the long jump, triple jump and pole vault. It is also the site for the Connecticut State Meets as well as the last season's New England Interscholastic Meet. There are slight changes to the meet schedule from last year where competition commences at 9:30am on Saturday, May 12, 2007.

Meet Director Lindy Remigino once again will assemble a high caliber field of competitors for a meet that has been recognized nationally as one of the top springtime meets on the East Coast. It will include athletes from fourteen states: Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Vermont, Maryland, Pennsylvania. New Hampshire, Maine, Virginia, Kentucky, Washington DC and Delaware as well as Canada.
On a cool and wet meet day in 2006, top performances were recorded by Brittany Sheffey of Bellport NY in the 800m (2:10) and a new 2k Steeplechase record of 6:36.37 from Lindsey Ferguson (Saratoga Springs). Top performances came from the men from James Nixon of Hyde Leadership in the 200m (21.61) and Mark Amirault of Xaverian Bros. in the 2-mile (9:01).

Entry procedures, fees, rules, records, past results and minimum standards are available at the 36th Annual Hartford Public High School Invitational Outdoor Track and Field Meet website. Please note that all meet registration will be conducted online, performance marks will be validated and there will be absolutely no athlete additions or changes (except for scratches) to an event on meet day. Please note that due to NHFS guidelines, the online Intent to Enter Form must be submitted by April 19, 2007.  The Intent to Enter form is now available online for coaches to complete. Meet Director Thayer Redman has released this year's meet information and deadlines for the 26th Journal Inquirer - Greater Manchester Track and Field Invitational. Invited coaches are reminded that all registration is again online this year and that there is NO seed meeting. The following registration items are due by 12-noon on Friday, May 4, 2007: Online Intent to Enter, Entry Fees, Officials Form and Team Press Release (used by Matt Buckler of the Journal Inquirer for news releases). Meet Director Carl Reichard of East Lyme is this year's host of the 2007 Eastern Connecticut Conference Championships scheduled for Saturday May 19, 2007 at East Lyme High School. ECC member schools include Bacon Academy, East Lyme, Fitch, Griswold, Killingly, Ledyard, Lyman Memorial, Montville, New London, Norwich Free Academy, Plainfield, Putnam, St. Bernard, Stonington, Tourtellotte Memorial, Waterford, Wheeler, Windham, and Woodstock Academy. The meet website contains all meet information including the Athlete Event Entry forms that will be online on Tuesday May 8, 2007. Please note that there is NO Intent to Enter form. 1st Bloomfield Youth Invitational Outdoor Track and Field Meet - May 26, 2007

To Youth Coaches, Parents, and Teachers:
Meet Director Michelle White is pleased to announce the 1st Bloomfield Youth Invitational Outdoor Track and Field Meet. The Bloomfield Youth Invitational was created to encourage youth physical fitness, afford fun learning  experiences for youth 9 to 14 years old and grant an opportunity for Connecticut youth to compete and build sportsmanship while building their leadership skills.
The event is schedule to be held at the Bloomfield High School Track and Field Facility on Saturday, May 26, 2007 sharply at 11:00 a.m. All teams and individual participants must register no later than 5:00 p.m. the Wednesday May 23, 2007. All registrations must be accompanied by payment OR IT IS NOT A REGISTRATION. There will be NO LATE registrations.
