Meet Information

Entry Deadline: Tuesday - September 9, 2008 - 9:00pm EST using the Head Count system.
 
Entry Procedure: TWO STEPS:
1. Complete and Print the Online Intent to Enter Confirmation Form AND mail with ENTRY FEE (made payable to ROBERT HADDAD, WINDHAM INVITATIONAL) to:

2. Enter ALL athletes in the Head Count system beginning on Saturday, Aug. 30 through Tuesday. 9pm, Sept 9th, 2008.

This meet is administered by MySportsResults.com using the Head Count system at http://www.nationalscholastic.org/headcount/

Coaches with an active account should login while coaches who do not have a Head Count account should use the Head Count Sign-Up link to establish the account before entering the teams. Head Count Online Help is available at the Coach Entry Guide page or at the Frequently Asked Questions page. Please address all Head Count issues to the Head Count system support team.

After selecting the 30th Windham Invitational XC Meet link at the Head Count main page, 

1. Coaches should enter all athletes who will compete in any of the races in the Team Roster Form. Coaches will enter the First and Last Name, Gender as well as Year in School for all runners.

2. The Coach will then assign those athletes to either the Girls Race Event or Boys Race Event for any of the races.

  • You will receive an online confirmation report of your entries as well as one in your email.
  • Once you have made your initial entry, you have until Tuesday - September 9, 2008 - 9:00pm EST to make any changes in Head Count to your roster and event entries.
  • All meet entry fees are the responsibility of the coach and must be paid according to the directions on this meet website.

IMPORTANT NOTE: On race day, the Team Packet will contain a number assignment list and numbers assigned to each runner that must be worn by that runner in order for correct results to be tabulated for each race. All finishers will have their assigned number recorded as well as have their tear-off number removed as they exit the finish line chute.

It is the responsibility of the coach to insure that the assigned numbers are provided to the correct athlete on their team.

 

Entry Rules:
  • This meet is open to all schools.
  • Every school that enters the meet is entitled to have a varsity team (consisting of 7 runners),
  • J.V. team (unlimited entries), and
  • Freshmen team (unlimited entries).
  • The boys’ and girls' Varsity Three races are for Small schools only.
Race Courses:
New Entry Fees:
  • $60.00 per varsity team,
  • $110.00 for both teams (girls and boys)

Awards:
  • Awards will be team plaques to the first four teams in each varsity race.
  • Sweat tops to the winner of each varsity race.
  • Shirts to the top 75 in each varsity race.
  • Shirts to the top thirty in all other races.
  • Again this year for varsity races only. A special shirt to the top five runners in each varsity race.
  • Again this year: A special award to the boys and girls team with the fastest total time of their first 5 runners (out of the three boys and three girls races). Each varsity runner will receive a Team Windham Cross Country Invitational Windbreaker.
